This 29-year-old woman wanted to rejuvenate and balance the appearance and balance of her lower face and lips. She disliked what she saw as a too-long upper lip, and had previously and successfully tried to treat this with lip filler injections. She came in for a customized consultation, and our Facial Plastic Surgeon Dr. Inessa Fishman recommended a surgical lip lift to treat her concerns. The central upper lip lift (also called a bullhorn lip lift) helps improve this patient’s smile and make the lower face look less heavy.
Our patient is shown 4 months after upper lip lift surgery, and has a natural-appearing and elegant result. She has a noticeable improvement in her lip and facial balance, and shows excellent healing. Her lip lift scar is healing well, and is essentially imperceptible. Our patient is also shown aquí just 3 days after her surgery and immediately after suture removal.
