Description

This 25-year-old woman came to our practice with the desire to improve her nasal appearance. She was bothered by the large bump on her nose bridge and felt her nose looked too long; she wanted to improve its balance while preserving a natural, feminine appearance.  She reported good nasal breathing, and denied snoring, nasal trauma, and previous nasal and sinus surgery.

Our Facial Plastic Surgeon and rhinoplasty expert Dr. Inessa Fishman treated this young woman with a combination of septoplasty, preservation rhinoplasty, minimally invasive rhinoplasty, and traditional rhinoplasty techniques to smooth her nasal bridge and gently reshape and support her nasal tip.  The patient is shown just 1 week after surgery, and already has a beautiful and natural result.  Her nose shape will continue to become less puffy and swollen, and gain further definition as she continues to heal for the remainder of a year after nose surgery.

About Rhinoplasty Procedure

Rhinoplasty is surgical reshaping of the nose, a treatment which permanently improves the nasal contours.  Concerns treated with rhinoplasty include an overly long or too-short nose, a bridge hump and a too-low nasal bridge, and a droopy or overly full or “ball-like” nasal tip.  A crooked nose or a nose with unsatisfactory changes after previous trauma or nose surgery is also treated with rhinoplasty.  Our facial plastic surgeon Dr. Inessa Fishman specializes in both preservation and piezo rhinoplasty, which both utilize advanced techniques for less post-operative bruising and swelling as well as natural, long-lasting results.  Dr. Fishman also performs traditional and revision rhinoplasty.  She commonly performs rhinoplasty surgery as a standalone procedure or in combination with a septoplasty or blepharoplasty.Learn More About Rhinoplasty
