About Skin Cancer Repair Procedure
The removal of skin cancers can result in tissue defects, or openings in the skin. To repair these, our facial plastic surgeon Dr. Inessa Fishman uses surrounding skin and tissue to close and reconstruct the defects remaining after skin cancer excision and Mohs surgery. She focuses on reconstructing defects of the scalp, face, and neck while preserving function and leaving as little evidence of treatment as possible.
