Description

This 30-year-old woman was bothered by her too-long right labia and clitoral hood since her teenage years.  Her right labia has always been uncomfortable in clothes, while exercising, and also with sexual activity. The length of the right labia made it so that it would get caught very easily. With sexual activity the patient had swelling and pain of the labia and right clitoral hood.  Board Certified Urologist and women’s wellness expert Dr. Shaya Taghechian treated her with a surgical labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction, performing the procedure in the comfort of our office, with relaxing medications and laughing gas.  Dr. Taghechian performed a conservative labiaplasty of the right labia only, to make it more symmetric with the left side; she also reduced the excessive tissue around the clitoris (clitoral hood reduction) for greater patient comfort.  The patient is shown 2 months after treatment, with excellent healing progress and great results.
