Description
This 40-year-old woman was bothered by a small mole just under her nose, and wanted it removed. Dr. Fishman treated the mole with shave biopsy and radiofrequency cauterization to remove it with the most minimal scarring. The patient is shown 7 weeks after treatment.
Moles, nevi, and birthmarks are common and most often benign growths of the skin, but can be aesthetically undesirable for some individuals. We aim to treat and remove birthmarks and growths with the least amount of scarring via cauterization and surgical excision procedures.
